Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were not very quiet, but being on the 5th floor offered great views of the city. However, the bathroom was a bit tired and had a strange configuration. The staff, especially Massimiliano, were all very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic for exploring Florence, being close to all the main attractions.
The hotel was not as spacious as expected, making it uncomfortable for our family of three. The noise was a significant issue during our stay, but the service was exceptional, especially Antonio in the restaurant. The location was fantastic, very central to top tourist attractions. However, the dining experience was lacking variety and could be improved.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location is superb, with a view of the Duomo and close proximity to Florence's main attractions. However, the room lacked warmth and character, even though it offered a fantastic view of the courtyard. The service was a bit hit and miss, with some staff being extremely helpful while others seemed preoccupied. The dining experience was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the facilities were well managed.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though spacious in a historical building, lacked freshness and needed better cleaning, especially in the bathrooms. The staff was accommodating, despite some stand-offishness from the restaurant team. The location was superb for exploring Florence's sights, being near both the train station and the city center. The dining options provided varied experiences, from surprisingly good to disappointing. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel had great views from the building but unfortunately, the room was extremely hot, the air conditioning didn't work despite seeking help, leading to discomfort and lack of sleep due to sweating and itching. The room was smaller than advertised and located near a noisy staff service lift that disrupted rest.
The hotel offers fabulous rooms with a separate sitting room, very clean and well maintained, and facing the square. The service was exceptionally helpful and efficient, especially with the staff member Beatrice. The location is excellent for easy access to the train and all the wonders of Florence. The dining experience was delicious with pastry, fresh bread, and a nice view, though it could have had more variety. Overall, a great choice for your stay in Florence.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms had a lovely view of the piazza, but there was quite a bit of thrumming noise, most likely from other room's air-con. The walls and mattress needed painting as they had terrible wine stains.
The hotel rooms were a fantastic mix of old-world charm and modern amenities, offering loads of space and a bit of a suntrap. However, they were a bit far from the lift and felt a little dark and dingy initially. The service was very helpful and extremely courteous, recommending off-the-path tourism spots; however, there were instances of rudeness. The location was excellent, with easy access to the train station and various sights in Florence. The dining experience was a delight with delicious pastries and a nice view. Overall, a charming hotel with some minor room location issues but worth the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of luxury and inconvenience. The rooms were luxurious, but small with no natural light or view. The service was brilliant and quick to resolve issues, although the rooms needed some maintenance. The location was spectacular, near all main attractions. The dining was disappointing, considering the hotel's potential for a higher standard of service.
